Solving Accessbase Enumeration not working in window server 2012
Acess-based enumeration displays only the file and folder that a user has permission to access .if a user does not have Read (or equivalent) permissions for a folder.,Windows hides the folder from the user's view. I had found many forum talk about this issue so many that i have stuck for this issue for a long time. Here is this solution we can use for ABE : 1.Apply NTFS for folder to user and group
2.Apply Sharing permission to Authentication user ( picture for more info)
3.After ready you can configure Access-based Enumeration .As picture below:
4.If your access-base Enumeration not working you should go to check step below. -NTFS Permission -Sharing Permission -Administrative tool--> Local Policy -> User Right Assignment-->Backup file and Directories.
For the Backup file and directories properties please remove Domain User From them by you need to check Administrators Group,Backup Operators Group,Server Operators Group. If Domain user or User stay in here Access-based Enumeration still not working.
